Clinical Research Award for Harvard Students

Harvard Medical School has established an award to recognize the achievements of its medical students working in patient-oriented research.

Each spring at commencement, the PASTEUR Award is presented to a graduating medical student whose work "best exemplifies clinical investigation" and has resulted in a published paper or one accepted for publication (see the HMS awards list for more information). The inaugural winner was Sallie Permar in 2004, for her research on resistance to the measles virus in HIV-infected pediatric patients.
